Learning the map or its objectives isn't necessarily the issue. The scale of the map however, is. The action in very large maps tends to be unconcentrated and spread too wide apart for ~20 something players. Hirntot is essentially the last place where old players still can get a game going in Europe. I don't think a still surviving community this marginal can really afford to run an empty server half the day.
