What are you feelings with new maps?

Yo.

As in the topic what are your feelings new maps? To be honest yesterday's aldernest with 13v13 or more was like that map was overloaded :D On supply numbers werent a big deal. But aldernest will be rly heavy time for axis with big numbers. And i noticed some ppl left server when new maps started.

3 added maps is too much, would have been better to replace railgun and fueldump.

The majority voted in-game that they wanted custom maps. I think however that players will soon turn on a map like Supply unless spawnkill zones are established. I also hope that these custom maps can be changed from time to time. For December it would be poignant to add Northpole.

3 added maps is a good thing (I would have prefered 4 so that the campaign can end in a tie). The longer the campaign, the longer players will choose to stick around (watch what happens on server around midnight).

Add Daybreak. Adler is too small map for such a big server lol.

No matter what we change, there will be always someone that complains. It is good to have feedback and ideas, just keep in mind that the forum only represents a very small part of the active players on hirntot.

For now and i don't see any reason to change it the custom maps has to be activated by admin. And that happend 4 days ago... does not look like the hirntot admins really want to play custom maps. -> http://et.splatterladder.com/?mod=serve ... on=mappool

I think crux said he didn't have the priviledges to activate custom campaign.

Frostbite version is not the normal one - etl_frostbite_v5
My only suggestion regarding 9 map campaign would be not to put custom maps at the end of the campaign but mix them into it.
For example:
1. gold 2.adler 3. battery 4. rail 5. frost 6. radar 7. fuel 8. supply 9. oasis

And how to enable 9 map campaign?:P

But yeah Homer got a point. Most of the original maps have 2 big routes which spread players a bit. Adler and Supply got only 1 choke point. But it's playable if server is set to 24 slots and it's admin empty. It mixes things up a bit. Frostbite is fine, if it is the original, but i've learned Harley got a fetish for dark maps :P So maybe we will see the original when he have fulfilled his pleasures :)

Supply_pro aka Supply Night was my idea, Harlekin switched it to normal xD

What's wrong with etl_frostbite?
