How to snipe

Post by evirdrevo » Wed Jun 10, 2020 6:10 pm

2020 and I'm still learning:

https://www.crossfire.nu/journals/15702 ... t#c4492039

TLDR;

1. He aims at you unzoomed
2. Then he aims at you with binocular
3. Then he aims at your with zoom
4. Then he shoots

The "smoother" transition actually seemed like it was worse to me.
But the removal of the delay is awesome :-)

I always use crouch and release it right after I shoot and press it again. Not sure why it works better this way, but it is a lot faster to lock on target again compared to not releasing it. I try to stay in cover as much as possible when I snipe.
